International Game Technology (IGT) has signed a deal with Jacobs Entertainment to have its social gaming casino, Double Down, appear on Jacobs Entertainment websites in Nevada and Colorado. The free to play application will eventually be hosted on five of Jacobs Entertainment websites, according to statement issued by IGT this week.
The Jacobs Entertainment brand includes sites such as the Gold Dust West Reno, Gold Dust West Carson City, The Gilpin Casino, The Lodge and the Gold Dust West Elko. Visitors to these sites will be able to enjoy access to the Double Down Casino and play a wide range of IGT created games, including the ever popular Da Vinci Diamonds and Cleopatra slots, in free to play mode. The casino also includes multi player poker by IGT which has proven to be a big hit among poker fans.
The statement by IGT showed that several more games will be rolled out over the next few months.
Eric Tom, the executive vice president of global sales at IGT said that the group was offering Jacobs Entertainment the chance to provide its players with a full service casino-style gaming experience, all the while retaining Jacobs Entertainment’s unique offering. Tom said that the partnership allows players to try out and enjoy free to play slots and multi player poker from the comfort of this own homes.
Adding his comments was the president of Jacobs Entertainment, Steve Roark, who said that the group was constantly looking for new ways to engage its players. Roark noted that the partnership with Double Down Casino allows Jacobs to interact and reach out to its customers in “fresh and appealing” ways.
