Paddy Power, the giant Irish sports betting and casino operator, has rolled out a brand new app which should be very popular among its players. The group’s new Point ‘n Shoot hi tech app will provide up to date odds on Premier League matches in the UK through the players’ smartphone in a particularly innovative way.

The new mobile app will deliver live odds to the player’s mobile if the player points the camera at a televised match. The odds are given in real time, providing an entirely new meaning to live entertainment. The new application essentially recognizes the match which is being played out on TV and displays the real time odds. In addition, the app provides players with the opportunity to swipe future matches which are scheduled to be played and add them automatically to their iPhone calendar.
