Double Magic Slots | 3-Reel, 1-Payline Slot

by Lauren

Double Magic Slot is found at Microgaming casinos and is a traditional 3-reel, 1-payline, 2-coin slot.  It’s has a wild, doubling symbol. You can only bet one or two coins in Double Magic, but as in all casino games it’s best that you always bet the maximum coin allowed for the maximum payout.  And the coin size ranges from $0.25 - $5.00 and the maximum payout on this game is 1,600 coins.  When you’ve logged into the casino of your choice, check out the pay table located on the screen of any slots game you are going to play. You’ll be able to see for yourself exactly what the winning combinations are before you download to play.

The Wild in Double Magic Slots is the Blue Star symbol and this will complete any winning combinations Plus when you get one Blue Star symbol it will double the payout of any winning combination it completes and two Blue Star symbols will give you four times the normal payout for that particular combination.

When you’ve logged into the casino of your choice, check out the pay table located on the screen of any slots game you are going to play. Here we’ve duplicated the pay table for Double Magic Slots so you can see for yourself exactly what the winning combinations are before you download to play. As you should be able to tell by now, this game is going to be a lot of fun for you and has a great chance of winning a large amount of money.

Some examples of winning combinations with the Wild Blue Star.

3 Cherries on the payline will win you 20 Coins for 1 Coin bet, and 40 for 2 Coins bet, if you have 1 Blue Star and 2 Cherries, this is doubled to 40 Coins for 1 Coin bet and 80 Coins for 2 Coins bet.

3 Red Sevens on the payline will win you 100 Coins for 1 Coin bet and 200 Coins for 2 Coins bet, if you have 1 Blue Star and 2 Red Sevens, this is doubled to 200 Coins for 1 Coin bet and 400 Coins for 2 Coins bet.

Spinning and getting 3 Blue Stars wins the maximum payout of 1,600 Coins. If your coin size is $0.25, then multiply 1,600 times $0.25 and you get $400.00, but if you bet the maximum coin size of $5.00 and hit the 3 Blue Stars your winnings are much higher at $8,000. So you can see the benefits of betting the maximum amount of coins on the maximum coin denomination that you can afford. This in no way urges you to bet more than your bankroll can afford.

There is not a lot of really useful strategies out there to winning at Double Magic Slots, or for that matter any slot game. There are some very useful tips that you should use in all slot games and these can help you to play your best, and when you play your best, it does increase your chances of winning and ultimately that is what everyone is looking for. Slots can be a basic, very simple game that comes in many forms with as few as one payline all the way up to 25 paylines in some cases. Of course with the added payline and added reels, comes some added challenges that help to make the games that more exciting.

One very important tip to any gambler, whether they are playing Double Magic Slots or any of the other casino games, is to manage your bankroll. Set aside a certain amount of money that you can afford to lose and stick with it. If you win, great! Put that money aside and continue to play with your original bankroll. If Lady Luck is not on your side this time and you lose your bankroll, then it’s time to walk away and try the game on another day. If you were lucky and were able to put some winnings aside, you can choose to use these to continue playing and see if you can turn your luck around. But if not, it’s time to call it quits for the day and you can leave knowing that you did not go over budget.

An interesting note on slots games are the origins of the game. Understanding where the game comes from, and what it has evolved to will help you to better understand how the games work, what the payouts are and how to best put your knowledge to work for you. The first Slot Machine was developed by a man names Charles Fey, in San Francisco. He built a mechanical Slot Machine that featured One Payline and Three Reels, with very few symbols and a low payout rate. These were placed in casinos and poker rooms mainly for the entertainment of the wives of the gamblers, but they caught on and soon they were springing up in casinos all around the country.

Today, slot machines are one of the biggest draws to any land based or online casino, and there are literally millions of faithful players around the world. And unlike their earlier counterparts, today’s machine are computerized works of art. Each of the Slots games have computer chips in them that run the Random Number Generators (RNG). These are very high tech devices that cycle through millions of numbers, even when the machine is not in play,  and when a player hits the spin button, the Random Number Generator stops on the combination at that precise moment and the result is then displayed on the screen for the player to see. With each spin you have exactly the same odds of getting a winning combination.

The selections of slots that you’ll find in online casinos are enough to boggle the mind of even the most seasoned gambler. A few things to remember to help you keep them straight are that the games are broken up into different categories of slots. You have the traditional 3-Reel Slots, then there are the 5-Reel Slots and then you have Progressive Slots. Take some time to investigate each category and some of the different games in each. Look at the coin denominations for each, the payouts, the special features and the bonus rounds. You’ll realize what a huge choice you have and the fact that slots are never boring.

How to Play Texas Holdem Poker

by Lauren

How to Play
In Texas hold’em, the purpose of the game is to finish with the best poker hand and win the pot.  The players to the left of the dealer begin by posting the blind bets.  A blind bet is a forced bet that is taken before the cards are dealt and is made instead of an ante. It is posted by the two players to the left of the dealer. A “small blind” is placed by the player to the dealer’s left. The “big blind” is placed by the player left of the small blind. Two pocket cards are dealt to each player face-down.  In the first round of betting, the options are to fold, bet, or raise - only one bet, and three raises per player are allowed on the first round also, players cannot “check” in the first round, as blinds are bets, and not antes.  Three communal cards or flop are dealt face-up in the center of the table.  All communal cards are active for all players and can be used in combination with each player’s two cards.  In the second round of betting, the options are to check, fold, bet, or raise.  Fourth communal card or turn is dealt face-up.  In the third round of betting, the options are to check, fold, bet, or raise.  If, at this stage, there are still at least two vying Players, the fifth, and final communal card or river is dealt face-up.  The final round of betting follows.  All remaining players then create the best five-card hand possible. You can use:

* Both pocket cards and three communal cards
* One pocket card and four communal cards
* All five communal cards

The best hand wins the pot! If two or more players have the same winning hand, the pot is split equally between them.

Texas Holdem Poker Rules
As per normal poker rules - playing and betting proceeds in a clockwise direction.  The two players to the left of the dealer post the blind bets.  Small blind (the player who sits left of the dealer) bets half the lower limit. Big blind (the player who sits left of the small blind) bets equal to the lower limit.  Betting increments in the game determine the blinds. In a game of $2 and $4 betting increments, the small blind is $1, and the big blind is $2.  The blind bets in Texas hold’em are considered as active bets, and therefore, players have the option to check, fold, call, and raise when the betting action returns to their position. (Exception to first round betting). First round betting - options are to fold, bet, or raise.

* Only one bet, and three raises per player are allowed on the first round
* Players cannot “check” in the first round, as blinds are bets, and not antes

Second and subsequent betting rounds - options are to check, fold, bet, or raise.  All bets must be placed in conjunction with the game’s betting increments.  There are four possible betting rounds in Texas hold’em poker. Each bet and raise during the first two rounds is set at the lower limit of the stakes structure, and for the last two rounds at a higher limit structure. For example in a $1/$2 Texas hold’em game, all bets and raises are $1 for the first two rounds (after pocket cards are dealt and after the flop). All bets and raises are $2 for the last two rounds (after the turn and after the river), following accepted poker rules.  The maximum allowable number of bets per Player during any betting round in Texas hold’em poker is four. This includes a (1) bet, (2) raise, (3) re-raise, and (4) cap. The term cap is used to describe the 3rd raise in a round since betting is then capped and can’t be raised further. Once capped, players will have only the option of calling or folding.  In betting rounds where players have folded, the first active player left of the disc/dealer is first to act.  To ensure fairness for all online poker players - new players entering the Texas hold’em game will be required to post the equivalent of the big blind. All players have the option of sitting out and waiting for the actual big blind before starting play.  By preventing players from constantly entering poker games in a late position and leaving before they’re required to post, these rules stop potential abuse of the online environment.

Texas Holdem Poker Strategy
* Five of the total Seven-Cards can be seen after the flop. At this point, you will have a good indication of how strong your hand will be in the final round. Consider your cards, and bets carefully. Staying for the Turn and the River demands that you either have a strong hand, a draw to a potentially winning hand, or good reason to believe that betting on a future round may cause your opponents to fold
* As a general rule, don’t continue beyond the flop without diverse possibilities - a strong pair and a decent side-card, a kicker, a straight, or flush draw. If you flop a draw, stick with it as long as the pot promises a greater payoff than the odds against making your hand
* Although Ace-King is a terrific starting combination, it generally needs to catch a flop with either an Ace or King in it to play aggressively
* When you must act before most of your opponents, play few hands. Acting last in Hold’em is like batting last in baseball. It’s a big advantage. In Review, hands that you’d routinely fold from early position might be raising hands if you are last to act
* Carefully consider how the communal cards can interact with your two hidden pocket cards to create a winning hand
* Call it quits when necessary. You haven’t lost much if you have a worthless hand and fold early in the game. It’s good practice to err on the side of caution; it costs less

About Let It Ride Poker

by Michael

Let it Ride Poker is one of the most popular games online and has been since 1993 when the game was introduced. Originally this game was brought about to promote an automatic shuffling machine and has turned into an online phenomenon. The game is based on a regular five-card poker game, the object is to make a winning poker hand from the combination of three player cards and two community cards. In this game you have the opportunity to control two of your three bets that you are allowed to wager on each hand of the game that you play. One of the most appealing aspects of this game is that when you play you aren’t playing against the other players or the dealer you are strictly out to get a winning hand.

You should be familiar with the rules of this game before you start to play so you can go in with the confidence that you know everything you can about the game.

First of all when you start to play the game you have to make three equal bets and put them in their specified spaces on the Let it Ride table. The spaces for the bets are marked one has a $ sign, one has a 1 and one has a 2 the numbers and $ are located inside three circles that are right in front of your playing station. The reason that this game has so much appeal to people is because later in the game you are allowed to call back one or two of your bets if you wish, the only bet that you have to leave down the whole time is the one in the circle with the $ sign. Once you have placed all of your bets the dealer gives you and himself three cards face down, the dealer will then discard one of his cards right away. The cards that the dealer has left are not a hand they are what are known as the community cards so that each player can make their best five card poker hand. Now that all of the cards are out on the table you pick up your three cards and look at them, after you look at them you get to decide whether you think you are going to be able to make a winning hand. If you don’t think that you will be able to make a winning five card poker hand you can now ask for your first bet back, this means that this bet is out of the game whether you win or lose. If you do think that you are going to be able to make a winning hand out of the cards that you have, you let that bet ride, which means you just leave that bet in its circle. After this process is completed the dealer turns over one of his face down cards. Now looking at that one face down card you again have a decision to make, at this point you can decide to either call your second bet back or to let it ride, if you think that you can make a winning five card hand let your bet ride, if not call back your second bet.

Make sure to keep in mind that no matter what you do with this bet, it does not affect the decision with your first bet. Once you have made your decision about the dealer’s first card and your own hand, it is time for the dealer to turn up his second face down card. Now you have to use the cards in your hand and the community cards to make your best five card poker hand, a winning hand in this game is at least a pair of tens or higher and what you will win depends on how much you bet and the payouts of the game. At some online casinos players are given the option to make a bonus bet on this game. Before each hand is dealt you have the option to make a $1 bet and this will give you a bonus amount of money for each winning hand.  An example of the bonus payout table is given below.

Three of a Kind gets you a $5 bonus
Straight gets you a $25 bonus
Flush gets you a $50 bonus
Full House gets you a $200 bonus
Four of a Kind gets you a $400 bonus
Straight Flush gets you a $2,500 bonus
Royal Flush gets you a $25,000 bonus

Now that you know all of the rules of this game you can be sure that you are going to know a lot more than most of the other people who go in, because in fact a lot of other people don’t worry about reading and learning the rules they just go in and try to fly by the seat of their pants. Now that you are ahead just by knowing the rules you need to have some strategies to follow to help maximize your winnings. The best piece of advice that can be given to anyone is to read several different strategies and when you find one that you like stick to it, if you vary you will end up losing more than you win, because if you use more than one at a time you will be contradicting yourself.

One of the strategies that you can choose to play is the following, this will help you decide which hands to let ride and which ones to pull your bet back on. You have to look at your hand and really see what you have. The first rule in any good Let it Ride strategy is to always keep your bet on a winning hand which is a pair of tens or better or a three of a kind. If you have three cards towards a Royal Flush. In the following circumstances you can let your first bet ride; if you have three successive cards towards a Straight Flush and the lowest card is a three, three cards towards a Straight Flush that aren’t in order buy have at least two high cards. Now on your second bet you should let your bet ride if you have any of the following; of course a winning hand; four cards towards a Royal Flush, Straight Flush or Flush; four cards in order towards a Straight with an open end; four high cards towards a Straight.

This is a great new online table game that is very easy to learn and play, not to mention very exciting. You should also know how to bet at this game, it does matter you really shouldn’t play like you are playing your normal table game since you are betting three times. What you are going to bet should be in accordance with the payout table. Tthe basic game will be laid out for you so you can get your idea of what you want to bet below the payout table.

Look at and examine the payout table so that you know what you are going to win if you get a certain hand. Once you read this information provided for you, you will go into this game with more knowledge than the common player. One very good piece of advice for this and any other game you are going to play for real money online is money management, if you keep a running tab on how much money you are spending then you will be able to be sure how much you are winning or losing. When you go into your favorite casino one good way to manage your money is to determine a certain amount of time you are going to play at a setting if you aren’t winning. For example if you sit down and start playing and don’t win out of a certain amount of hands you should quit for a while instead of putting more money on the line. Another great way is to decide before you go in how much money you are willing to spend. Every time you win some money you should put half of it back and only play back the other half, that way when you get done playing you can still come out ahead. This is important because this way you will know exactly what you come in with and you can keep track of how much you win. Now you know pretty much everything there is to know about this game, all that’s left to do is go and play if for yourself.

How to Play Roulette

by Erica

Roulette Facts
The game of roulette with a spinning wheel and ball is believed to have first began in Europe in the 18th century.  Roulette as we pretty much know it today first appeared in Paris about 100 years later.  In the 1950’s, the French created the single zero game to reduce the casino’s edge.  The American wheel has a single zero and double zero increasing the casino’s edge.

How to Play
In roulette, the purpose of the game is to guess on which number or group of numbers the roulette ball will land.  A player has the option of betting on a single number, group of numbers or to choose whether the number will be red/black or odd/even.

There’s two different kinds bets that you can place in roulette called inside and outside bets.  The inside bets are those placed on a single number or group of numbers and are on the interior area of the roulette layout.  The outside bets are around the exterior of the roulette layout and are the other betting choices.

Playing roulette online is a little easier than playing at a land-based casino.  Playing online is a great place to learn roulette too without the pressure of other players and the dealer.  When playing roulette online, you simply need to place your chips on the bet or bets of your choice and press “spin”.  When the ball stops on a number, a marker will be placed on the winning number on the inside of the roulette table layout.  Any winning bets are then paid out.

Inside Bets
Straight Up - Bet on any number by placing your chips on the center of a number. The payout for the straight-up bet is 35:1
Split Bet - Bet on two numbers by placing your chips on the line that divides two numbers.  The payout for the split bet is 17:1
Street Bet - Bet on a row of three numbers by placing your chips on the outside line of numbers at the end of the row.  The payout for the street bet is 11:1
Corner Bet - Bet on four numbers by placing your chips at the corner where the four numbers meet.  This is also called a square bet.  The payout for the corner bet is 8:1
Five Bet - Bet on the numbers 0, 00, 1, 2, and 3 by placing your chip on the edge line, where the line between 0 and the first row meets.  This bet is only offered in American roulette.  The payout for the five bet is 6:1
Line Bet - Bet on two street bets (six numbers in two rows of three numbers), by placing your chips on the edge line of the roulette table where the line dividing the two rows meet.  The payout for the line bet is 5:1

Outside Bets
Column Bet - Bet on a line of twelve numbers by placing your chips in one of the three boxes marked “2 to 1″ at the bottom of a column of numbers.  The payout for the column bet is 2:1
Dozen Bet - Bet on a group of twelve numbers by placing your chips in one of the three boxes marked “1st 12,” “2nd 12,” or “3rd 12.”  The payout for the dozen bet is 2:1
Red/Black, Even/Odd, Low/High Bets - Bet in one of the boxes on the side of the table that covers half of the roulette table numbers, not including the 0.  Each box covers eighteen numbers.  The payout for these bets is 1:1

Roulette Strategy
* Play at online casinos that offer European roulette
* If you are unable to play at an online casino that offers European roulette, then avoid the five bet since the house edge is high
* Manage your money

Everything you wanted to know about Casino War

by Lauren

Do you remember when you were younger and you used to play “War” with your friends when you were extremely bored. The day would be raining, and there was nothing else to do. All your video games had been beaten, you didn’t have a car to rent a newer video game, and your computer didn’t have the graphic capabilities that were equivalent to the “systems” like Playstation and Nintendo GameCube. The casinos, both land-based and online have taken this very simplistic game, and have created some minor changes, and have created it into a full feature betting game at the casinos.

Now, you may be wondering why a casino, either land-based or online would want to use such a simplistic game at their establishment? This is a very strong and effective marketing strategy used by the casino promotions team. Statistics show that the people who have played a familiar game in the past are more likely to play on the casino war game at the casinos.

House Advantage
Go to war on ties: 2.88%
Surrender on ties: 3.7%
Bet on ties: 18.65%

People who play at the casino have common sense. If there is a game available, and they have no idea, or knowledge on how to play it, there is a very slight chance the player will wager any money on that game. Now, if the player is familiar with the game, the total opposite could happen, as they remember the game being extremely simple, and it was hard to lose. The player must remember that the house always has the best odds, and the player must play this game responsibly, as it could empty your wallet, and max out your Visa cards extremely quickly. This game is also quite popular among the “Baby Boomer” generation, as the game can reflect their past, and they are able to reflect back on their childhood when playing the game.

When you were younger, and you remember playing “War” with your friends, there were certain rules that will be discussed on the “original” version of the game. The original version of the game was played using one deck of 52 cards, which were shuffled in no specific manner, and each player was given 26 cards. In many games, the cards in the deck are “rated” by suit (Spade, Heart, Diamond, Club), and the higher the number, the more powerful the card is, in establishing your hand. In the original version of casino war, the Ace is played as only a “low” card, and the King is the “highest” card, and the suits have no meaning in this game. Each player will continue by flipping a card over, and whichever card is higher, that person will win that hand. They will be able to collect the cards that were flipped and add them to their pile of cards. The object of the game was to “take over” the entire deck, and be declared the undisputed champion. If the two players put down two cards that had an equal number value, they would “Go To War”. The way I played this game was we flipped 3 cards off the deck and kept them face down, and were placed in a separate pile. After this process was complete, the 4th card would be flipped over, and the higher card would win would take all 10 cards. In the event of another tie, the same process will occur until a winner of the hand is declared. Once one of the players has all 52 cards in their hand, they are declared the winner. This game used to take hours on end to complete, and many times there was no winner, as our attention span would take us somewhere else, to another activity.

Casino war is one of the simplest games that is available to play at a casino, both land-based and online. It is by all means, 100% luck, and there is no skill required. As a player, when you are playing casino war, you just better hope “Lady Luck” is watching over you on that specific day. Casino war is a game where there is not much room for “middle ground”, when placing bets. The minimum bet at most casinos, land-based and online is between $5-$1000 per hand. Let me explain how the game works!

Casino war is supposed to be played with 6 decks of cards, and is played on a standard Blackjack table. Before the game begins, the cards must be shuffled, and the player or dealer must not be allowed to see any of the cards during this process. When playing casino war, the cards are ranked the same way as in Poker, but Aces are always counted as a “high” card, and never a “low” card. Also, when playing this game, the “suit” of the card(s) does not matter. Only the numbers are used to play casino war.

Before cards are dealt (which come from a shoe), the player(s) at the table are required to place a bet between $5 and $1000. Remember, this is only an initial bet and may increase as the game/hand progresses. The dealer and each player will receive one card face-up. The cards are taken from the top of the shuffled deck, and placed to each player and dealer face-up. The dealer will deal the cards from their left to right, dealing themselves last. Since, in most cases of casino war, there is only one betting “round”, the card that is revealed, and has the highest number will win the wager bet at the beginning of the hand. Each player is playing against the dealer (house), and there is no competition between each player at the table. It is exactly the same as playing Blackjack at a casino, either online or land-based. If the player’s card is higher than the dealers, the player will win the amount wagered, and the match that the house made. Its Simple…. right?

But, the casinos have created a “twist” to make the game more exciting and interesting. If the players and the house cards come up in a tie, meaning they are the same, the player had two option on how to proceed. The first option is for the player to surrender, and forfeit the hand, meaning they lose their initial bet, and the player is eliminated from that “round”, or hand. In the event of a tie, this is where the player must test their luck, and be able to win bigger amounts of money. The second option the player may pursue, is “Going To War”. If the player decides to “Go To War”, he/she must raise their bet to an amount equal or greater than the initial bet. The dealer will match the bet, but this has no meaning in the game, and is for show only. The dealer will then proceed by “burning” three cards. The process called “burning”, means the dealer takes three cards from the top of the shuffled deck, and places it in a separate pile, aside from the original deck of 6 packs of cards. Once the dealer has “burned” the three cards, he/she will deal the player and house another card. Again, it simple! …. right?

If the players second card equals or beats the dealer, the player will win even money on the raise, and the original wager will “push”. The tern “push” is a casino term meaning the dealer and a player tie, and no one is declared the winner. Now, the dangerous part about this game is if the dealer wins the second “round” of cards dealt, the player will lose their original bet, along with their second bet, to play the tie out.

This type of game, depending on your wager can empty or fill your wallet. When playing only casino war at the casino, you will either be a big winner, or a bigger loser. Casino war is becoming more popular among casinos around the world, and are showing up more and more on online casinos. The game is simple, but the “twist” that the casino makes, will usually have the house win a majority of the money. By all means, casino war is a game of chance, and you must make sure to know your limits, and do not go “overboard” on your betting. These types of table games can be deadly for “high rollers”, as, for example, in the event of a “Tie”, you are basically having to at least “Double Up” on your bet. But, as any casino player will say, you have to spend money to make money. This statement is 100% true for most Table Games. There could be exception to such games of chance like slots, when a much smaller bet could win you a large amount of money.

Overall, I enjoy playing the game of casino war, although I had not had much luck with my experience. The online casinos that offer casino war, there is some controversy over whether the 6 decks are shuffled after every hand. The answer: Only the operators of the online casinos, and software providers know this answer, and by no means are they going to disclose the information. Remember, when playing on an online casino, you should play somewhere that you trust, and have had a good experience with. There are many communication methods for online gamblers to post their opinions about online gambling sites. Try typing “Gambling Forums” as a search query on a major search engine, such as Google, and you can voice your opinion. You can also find the online casinos with a reputable name, as well as find out about new casino software, and the latest news in the online gambling industry. Lastly, in my opinion, it is a good idea to sign-up for newsletter and e-zines, so you can keep up-to-date about the different online gambling sites, and most importantly, be knowledgeable about your online casino gambling.

About Omaha Poker

by Lauren

How to Play
Omaha Hi, is similar to Omaha hi-lo and Texas hold’em, but creates a wider range of possibilities because nine cards are used.  The purpose of the game is to finish with the best poker hand and win the pot.  The rules are most similar to Texas hold’em, except for the Review that Omaha hi deals four pocket cards (rather than two), and the showdown only uses two pocket cards and three communal cards (rather then a choice of combinations). Two pocket cards are dealt to each player, face-down.  First round of betting - options are to fold, bet, or raise - only one bet, and three raises per player are allowed on the first round also, players cannot “check” in the first round, as blinds are bets, and not antes.  Three communal cards or flop are dealt face-up in the center of the table. All communal cards are active for all players and can be used in combination with each player’s two cards.  Second round of betting - options are to check, fold, bet, or raise.  Fourth communal card or turn is dealt face-up.  Third round of betting - options are to check, fold, bet, or raise.  If, at this stage, there are still at least two vying players, the fifth, and final communal card or river is dealt face-up.  Final round of betting follows.  All remaining players then create the best five-card high hand possible. You can only use:

* Two pocket cards and three communal cards
* If two or more players have the same winning hand, the pot is split equally between them.

Omaha Hi Poker Rules
As per normal poker rules - playing and betting proceeds in a clockwise direction.  The two players to the left of the dealer post the blind bets.  Small blind (the player who sits left of the dealer) bets half the lower limit.  Big blind (the player who sits left of the small blind) bets equal to the lower limit.  Betting increments in the game determine the blinds. In a game of $2 and $4 betting increments, the small blind is $1, and the big blind is $2.  The blind bets in Omaha hi are considered as active bets, and therefore, players have the option to check, fold, call, and raise when the betting action returns to their position.

There are four possible betting rounds in Omaha hi poker. Each bet and raise during the first two rounds is set at the lower limit of the stakes structure, and for the last two rounds at a higher limit structure. For example in a $1/$2 Omaha hi game, all bets and raises are $1 for the first two rounds (after pocket cards are dealt and after the flop). All bets and raises are $2 for the last two rounds (after the turn and after the river), following accepted poker rules.

The maximum allowable number of bets per player during any betting round in Omaha hi poker is four. To ensure fairness for all online poker players - new players entering the Omaha hi game will be required to post the equivalent of the big blind. All players have the option of sitting out and waiting for the actual big blind before starting play.  By preventing players from constantly entering poker games in a late position and leaving before they’re required to post, these rules stop potential abuse of the online environment.

Omaha Poker Strategy
* Straights and flushes are common since there are five community cards to choose from
* You’re looking out for a high hand only - beware of low cards
